Meet Google’s new Logo and Navigation bar with Apps launcher
Search engine Google unveils new flatter log and a change in navigation bar with app launcher. So far the new logo starts to roll-out but the navigation bar apps launcher will update across “most” Google products over the next few weeks”, “As part of this design, we’ve also refined the color palette and letter shapes of the Google logo,” Google says. New logo started to roll out from Thursday.
Google announced on their blog post that “Your Google products are now accessible under a new app launcher, located at the top right of the screen. Just click on the familiar ‘Apps’ grid, also present on Android devices and Chromebooks.
In older version if we click the ‘more’ menu in menu bar it drop downs Google’s other products just as texts. Now its a apps launcher and looks better compare to the previous method.
Last time Google redesigned their log in 2010. The new logo looks some flatter, bit smaller and colors are muted just a bit, looks bit flatter. Google has been testing their new logo from last February. Another search engine Yahoo recently changed their logo after one month of experiment.
