Target Confirms near 40 Million Credit and Debit Card’s PIN info Stolen in Massive Breach
Target corporation the giant American retailing company confirms that debit card PIN info stolen in massive breach. If you shopped at Target recently with your debit card its better should be watchful over your account. According to TheNextWeb’s report users debit card PIN information’s as part of a security breach of its system that saw 40 million accounts being exposed.

On December 19 Target corporation announced that “Approximately 40 million credit and debit card accounts may have been impacted between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15, 2013. Target alerted authorities and financial institutions immediately after it was made aware of the unauthorized access, and is putting all appropriate resources behind these efforts.
Since then Target has been working with law enforcement agencies actually what happened and how to fix that. Today Target announced “Target does not have access to nor does it store the encryption key within our system. The PIN information is encrypted within Target’s systems and can only be decrypted when it is received by our external, independent payment processor.”
