Its a happy news for WhatsApp users. The worlds largest mobile messaging service plan to add voice calls to their 450 million users. The voice service will be available on iPhones and Android devices on coming summer and some time later for Blackberry users.

WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum said at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona “We are going to introduce voice in WhatsApp in the second quarter of the year. “I think we have the best voice product out there.” There are no planned changes, “Our vision and mission are aligned. We both want to make the world more connected.We are working with carriers in established markets to bring value to end users.”
Recently social networking legend Facebook bought WhatsApp for $19 Billion. The transaction involves $4 billion in cash, $12 billion in stock and $3 billion in restricted stock that vests over several years.
Recently WhatsApp servers down for near 210 minutes due to server issues. The previous outage was on December 8, 2013.
