Instagram the worlds largest, popular photo-sharing app introducing video on their service. The new system allows users to create and share 15-second videos. Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom says that the service will be available for iOS and Android starting from today, core-imagery is everything and that it drives Instagram and is in its core DNA”.
Today at a press event at Facebook’s Menlo Park headquarters announced the update of Instagram. Kevin Systrom says that now Instagram has 130 million monthly active users and 16 billion photos has been shared through their site, 1 billion updates every day after the launch in 2010.
Now you can share 15 seconds instant video, 13 custom filters that can be added to videos and allows the user to choose the thumbnail. The new system is available for every iOS, Android users from today.
