Search engine company Google buying nest labs for 3.2 Billion. Nest labs is a California based home-automation company with more than 100 employees founded by 2 former Apple executives in 2011. The acquisition is officialy announced by Google. Google’s CEO Larry page said “Nest’s founders, Tony Fadell and Matt Rogers, have built a tremendous team that we are excited to welcome into the Google family. They’re already delivering amazing products you can buy right now–thermostats that save energy and smoke/CO alarms that can help keep your family safe. We are excited to bring great experiences to more homes in more countries and fulfill their dreams!”
Tony Fadell CEO of Nest Labs announced on their blog says “When Matt and I started Nest in 2010, we were determined to change our homes and the world around us. Starting a business focused on the lowly thermostat seemed like a crazy idea at the time, but it made all the sense in the world to us.

Also he says that nest will be plan to continue thier works and nest will be continue as Nest with their own working brand identity. Nest labs first product is Nest Learning Thermostat arived in 2011.
