Today Google’s head of web spam Matt Cutt’s announced on Twitter that Google has taken action against a “large guest blog network.” He didn’t mention which network has been affected by Google. Now its confirmed that it was MyBlogGuest.com.

So far Google didn’t take down their Page Rankings but the service no longer ranks for its own brand name. If we searched on Google we don’t get any search results that including the MyBlogGuest.com domain. Now the first result is Anny Smarty’s Twitter profile, the founder of MyBlogGuest.com.
Is this a warning against guest blogging? Not, but a warning for the persons who is guest blogging only for links. It means nofollow your unwanted links. Guest blogging isn’t dead and not going to because it’s still great way for us to provide an additional perspective for the readers.
