Micro-blogging platform Twitter pushed a significant update to its Android and iOS apps. Now Twitter allows photo tagging. You can tag up to 10 users and up to 4 photos in a tweet. You can download the new version directly from Apple App stores and Google Play stores.
Tag up to 10 people in a photo
Twitter officialy announced on their blog “you can tag up to 10 people in a photo and still have all 140 characters at your disposal, making it easier to connect with your friends. If you’re the one being tagged, you’ll get a notification. You can adjust notifications, as well as who can tag you, in your Settings.
If you upload an image on Twitter, Twitter will ask who’s in this photo. Like Facebook tagging you need to mention their name with @.
Share up to 4 photos in a single Tweet
Now with your mobile device you can share up to 4 photos in a single tweet. Photos will automatically create a collage. Now ability to upload multiple photos is only available today on iPhone and is coming soon to Android. You can view tweets with multiple photos.
